It was a very exciting weekend for the Duquesne Greek community. Recently, we officially welcomed a new sorority chapter to our campus – Alpha Omicron Pi. Starting in January, AOII has had a big presence on campus. From a website and Facebook page to tabling all over campus and beyond, AOII has made their mark here. After all of the planning, three weeks of intense marketing and PR, three recruitment parties and an interview process, we can now officially congratulate the 68 new sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi. The women will be jumping right into Greek Life, holding their first sisterhood retreat on Sept. 27. The sisters will get to name their own chapter, determine their own campus motto and choose their own local philanthropy. AOII will be recruiting in the formal recruitment process in the spring of 2015, so look out for even more growth by this amazing organization. Congratulations AOII, and welcome to Duquesne University!
