OMA 9th Annual Turkey Drive

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) recently concluded their 9th Annual Turkey Drive.  The drive was highly successful as it reached the goal of providing over 200 families in and around the Greater Pittsburgh Area with a turkey dinner for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs along with the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in particular, coordinated their efforts with over 15 local, community organizations and distributed the turkeys to the constituents they serve.

The drive, which, was held during the months of October and November, was the most successful one to date with respect to the families served and funds acquired.  In addition, the drive was also one of the most successful in the Pittsburgh area during the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The Office of Multicultural Affairs would like to send a sincere and genuine thank you to the Duquesne University community, as we were able to join together and ultimately help others during their time of need.  We remain appreciative to the uniqueness of each partnership we have.
