The Student Wellbeing Club hosted a week of Wellbeing-related free events open to the Duquesne Community. The week began with a Yoga Hike in collaboration with the nonprofit, Venture Outdoors. The students hiked around the urban neighborhood of Regent Square and the nearby Frick Park, and ended at a yoga studio, Yoga on the Square. Other events/activities included Creative Expression event in the NiteSpot, a Wellbeing Advocacy Keynote Speech by Dr. Ian Edwards, Director of the Counseling Center and founder of the Wellbeing Initiative, honoring the Feast of the Annunciation; a Nutritionist Speaker; Therapy Dogs; Yoga Class with Sound Healing which included Rev. Gregory Olikenyi, C.S.Sp., providing an interfaith-multicultural experience through meditative music; and a Drum Circle lead by students from the Music Therapy Student Association.
