Athletics Fall Recap and Winter Headlines

Men’s and women’s basketball and women’s swimming are in full-swing, while men’s and women’s tennis, track and field, women’s rowing and lacrosse are gearing up for their spring seasons here on the Bluff!

The volleyball team had another successful season with 16 wins, finishing tied for third place in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Senior, Arielle Love, capped her career by being named AVCA Honorable Mention All-America, Midwest All-Region and Atlantic 10 First-Team All-Conference.

The women’s soccer team began the year by tying for first place at the 1st Annual Steel City Classic. The highlight of the tournament was a 1-0 double-overtime victory over cross-town rival Pitt. Seniors, Kahli Hale and Devon Tabata, were named to the A-10 All-Academic Team, while Freshman, Linnea Faccenda, was named to the All-Rookie team.
