It’s On Us: Student-Athletes Team Up With National Campaign

Duquesne student-athletes became one of the first Atlantic 10 schools to make a personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault. We also hosted a Sexual Violence Prevention/Awareness week at the end of January. During this week, student-athletes viewed the Emmy nominated documentary Brave Miss World, participated in self-defense classes led by Captain Lee Speer and Duquesne Public Safety officers and had a Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR) advocate on campus for bystander approach programming.

The Dukes encourage you to join them in taking the pledge at www.itsonus.org.
