One of the nation’s universities with the best value, considering cost and academic quality, Duquesne continues to be ranked by U.S. News & World Report in its top tier of national universities.
In the 2014 U.S. News Best College ranking, Duquesne remained among the top schools-and the top Catholic institutions-in the nation.
Ranked No. 45 as a Great School at a Great Price, Duquesne is one of six Catholic institutions in the top 50 considered as great values for students, based upon academic quality and the cost for a student receiving an average level of need-based aid. Only schools in or near the top half of the U.S. News national rankings were even considered for this list.
The Princeton Review
Duquesne University is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features Duquesne in the new 2014 edition of its annual college guide, The Best 378 Colleges.
Duquesne University has been selected as among the nation’s best Catholic Colleges by BestColleges.com. BestColleges included Duquesne among fewer than 50 Catholic schools of the 262 in the U.S. in its list. Unique as an American university founded by the Spiritan order in the United States, Duquesne was noted for its high ranking among small research universities, illustrating faculty productivity, and for almost half of the University’s classes having fewer than 20 students.
Duquesne University has been selected as one of Pennsylvania’s most affordable colleges, and one of the 81 institutions in the state whose degrees provide the most value over the graduate’s lifetime.
The National Jurist
Duquesne University has been ranked No. 4 among Best Value Private Law Schools according to The National Jurist, which publishes the rankings “to identify and recognize law schools that help students pass the bar exam and land jobs without burdening them with huge debt.”
