Commuters and Duquesne
Commuter Council at Duquesne University is the second largest governing body on campus whose purpose is to serve as the voice for all commuters. Commuter Council strives to ensure that all commuters have a pleasant time while at Duquesne University. Throughout the school year, Commuter Council plans various events such as picnics, Halloween events, and more. On September 7, 2012, Commuter Council held its annual “Beginning of the Year Picnic” for all commuters. Commuters stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat, to hang out with fellow commuters, and to play corn hole on Mellon Patio. Students that attended the picnic enjoyed their time and were all excited to be a part of the organization dedicated solely for commuters.
