The Incline, previously known as The Off Ramp, received a major renovation and name change over the summer. Now called The Incline, the space has been opened up for a better flow, brightened up for a better atmosphere and updated with a more modern look. The Incline now has fresh, hand-tossed brick oven pizzas, new baked pasta dishes at the Rustica station, sushi and grab’n go, Build-a-Burger grill station and fresh, hand-crafted salads at Salads by Design. The Red Ring Bar and Grille on Duquesne University’s campus celebrated its grand re-opening with the launch of a brand new menu on Nov. 20.
The Red Ring seats more than 150 guests for indoor table service/bar seating as well as al fresco dining for lunch and dinner on the new outdoor patio. Created by Parkhurst Dining of Homestead, Pa. — Duquesne’s new dining services partner — the patio adds a lively and enjoyable dimension to dining and gets guests out into the fresh, open air to savor offerings from the extensive menu of appetizers, soups, salads, hot sandwiches and entrees. Students returning to campus this semester were pleased to check out the completely revamped Hogan Dining Center, featuring an open kitchen, new seating arrangements and more choices for dining.
Located in the Towers residence hall, the Hogan Dining Center is the main campus student dining facility and now has food preparation areas that allow diners to see their meals being made. In addition, a variety of different food-serving areas have replaced the cafeteria line. Continue reading
