Human Rights Film Series Underway

Repressions and Resilience, the sixth annual Human Rights Film Series, presented by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, will feature seven award-winning films focusing on some of the most critical human rights issues of our times.

The series kicked off on Wednesday, Jan. 16, with a screening of The Last Mountain, a documentary that explores the impacts of mountaintop-removal coal mining in Appalachia. Continue reading
