Duquesne Advances Five Places in U.S. News National Ranking, Noted as a Great Value and Top School for Veterans

Duquesne University rose five spots in the annual U.S. News & World Report ranking of top schools, reaching No. 116, the highest spot in University history in this widely recognized ranking. The University also was acknowledged as one of the nation’s schools with the greatest value and as a top school for veterans.

The School of Nursing has been ranked No. 6 in the nation among the Best Online Graduate Nursing Programs by U.S. News and World Report. The School of Education climbed up 35 spots, to No. 126 in the country, and the Donahue Graduate School of Business was recognized as one of the top part-time MBA programs in the country, No. 125-and both were among the top 10 programs in Pennsylvania.

Duquesne Called One of the Most Efficient National Universities by U.S. News

Duquesne University is one of the most efficiently operated top-tier ranked universities, according to a new listing issued by U.S. News.

It is the only institution in Pennsylvania and the only Catholic school included on this list of the top 20 national universities.

U.S. News’ Recognizes Nursing School, University Online Programs

Duquesne University and its School of Nursing have been recognized by U.S. News and World Report in its 2013 Best Online Education Program Rankings.

The School of Nursing’s graduate offerings were ranked No. 7 in the Best Online Nursing Programs category for its graduate nursing offerings. The University overall was ranked No. 125 of 160 schools ranked in the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs list. Continue reading
