Duquesne University Places 3rd in Pennsylvania Bar Exam Results

The Duquesne University School of Law is pleased to announce that it achieved a first-time taker pass rate of 91.56 percent on the July 2014 Pennsylvania Bar Examination.

This result placed Duquesne third out of 10 Pennsylvania area law schools, behind only the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University. Continue reading

Duquesne Law School Jumps Significantly in U.S. News Ranking

Duquesne University’s School of Law leaped 23 spots in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Graduate School Rankings.

Last year, Duquesne placed among top-tier law schools for the first time in a decade. This year, Duquesne jumped up to the 121st spot, shared with seven other institutions, including DePaul University in Chicago. Continue reading

Duquesne Law Students Win Regionals, Advance to NAAC Finals

Second-year law students Sarah Molinero and Aleksandra Kocelko will advance to the finals of the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC) after being named champions at the regional competition in Washington, D.C., March 7-9.

This marks the first time that a team from the School of Law has earned a spot in the prestigious NAAC Championship, set for April 4-6 in Chicago and will feature 27 teams. Continue reading
