Too Noisy in the Living Learning Center?
All areas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the library have been designated for quiet study. Additionally, keys to individual study carrels on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

Need a place for group study?
Three group study rooms are located on the 5th floor for student and faculty use. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They can accommodate a minimum of 3 people and maximum of 7. Keys may be checked out at the Circulation Desk for a three-hour (3) period, and are not renewable.

Get Connected
Check-out a laptop at the 4th floor circulation desk. Loaner laptops are for library use only. or, connect to Duquesne’s wireless network, Duqnet to use your own laptop in the library. Electrical outlets are available in quiet study areas on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors of the library as well as in the group study areas on the 4th and 5th floors.

TAKE A BREAK! FOR THE FUN OF IT!
Grab a fiction or nonfiction bestseller or get lost in a thriller or sci-fi novel from the Popular Reading Collection on the 4th floor. Lights, Camera, Action…Browse the library’s DVD collection on the 5th floor then check out your favorite movie at the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor. DVDs circulate for one-week.
