FAST Set for July 12-15, Will Welcome Incoming Freshmen

Duquesne’s annual Freshman Advisement Summer Transition (FAST) program is slated to take place on campus from July 12-15, to help incoming freshmen and their parents get a head start on many of the tasks students will face when they matriculate in August.

Through FAST, students get the opportunity to meet their academic advisor, buy their books for class, open their student bank accounts and learn about health services, financial aid, safety and student activities.

Incoming freshmen from the Palumbo•Donahue School of Business, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, Rangos School of Health Sciences and the School of Education will be welcomed to campus on Tuesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 14. Freshmen from the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts, Mylan School of Pharmacy, Mary Pappert School of Music and the School of Nursing, will be hosted on Wednesday, July 13, and Friday, July 15.
