Campus-Wide Knitting Efforts to Comfort Cancer Patients

Students, faculty and staff are invited to spend their lunchtime knitting or crocheting scarves for cancer patients every Thursday during February from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 609 of the Union.

The homemade scarves will be donated to local cancer patients or given as personal gifts to those touched by cancer.

All skill levels are encouraged to attend; beginners will be taught basics. Attendees are asked to bring one or two skeins of pink yarn, size H, I or J crocheting hooks or size 9, 10 or 11 knitting needles.

An RSVP is not required. For more information, contact Cecilia Hughes.
