SLPA Speaker to Discuss Gender and Cultural Differences at Work

The School of Leadership and Professional Advancement will host August commencement speaker, Elizabet Rodriguez Dennehy, at a special networking event on Friday, Aug. 2, at 5:30 p.m. in the Barnes and Noble Café in the Power Center.

Rodriguez will discuss her new book, Can You Afford to Ignore Me? How to Manage Gender and Cultural Differences at Work, which helps executives at all corporate levels to understand how to navigate the complexities of gender and culture in the new global economy. The event, which is free and open to the public, will include a book signing and reception.

Rodriguez is founder and president of Rodriguez & Associates, a strategic consulting firm, and serves as lead faculty for the Women’s Executive Leadership Program at Duquesne.
