The Rev. Brian Cronin, C.S.Sp., associate professor of philosophy, facilitated the 2013 Faculty Summer Seminar, Understanding Values, at Seton Hall University from Aug. 19-22. Cronin, who did mission work and taught in Africa from 1972-2008, led discussions on relating values to critical thinking, feelings, conscience and religious experiences.

Dr. Patrick Juola, associate professor of computer science, presented demographic analysis software that determines a Meyers Briggs personality type based upon an individual’s 250-word writing sample at the Human Cyber Forensics Forum in Washington, D.C. The forum, geared toward the Department of Defense and intelligence and cyber security agencies, was held Aug. 21.
