Libermann Luncheon to Explore Discernment as a Catholic Tradition

The Rev. Dan Walsh, C.S.Sp., University chaplain and director of Spiritan Campus Ministry, will speak at the next Libermann Luncheon scheduled at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the Africa Room.

The Rev. Daniel Walsh, C.S.Sp.

Walsh, who also serves as formation director for the Spiritan seminarians residing in Laval House, will share his reflections on the topic Discernment as a Catholic Tradition.

According to Walsh, attentiveness to discernment as an ongoing practice gives people insight into God’s action in their lives and the world around them. “Hearing God’s call and embracing our vocation can be one of the most daunting and rewarding tasks that we can face,” says Walsh. “There are a wide variety of vocations that we are called to in today’s Church. The great challenge is to uncover and listen to the call that we receive.”

To attend, RSVP by emailing Mary Beth Calorie in the Office of Spiritan Campus Ministry or call 412.396.6020 by Friday, Oct. 11.
