International Programs Office Hosting Italian Adventure to Rome and Sicily

The Office of International Programs (OIP) invites faculty and staff to travel with alumni and friends to Italy from Wednesday, June 4, through Tuesday, June 17, for the office’s annual Italian adventure.

The trip will include two days and three nights in Rome, which includes visits to some of the major basilicas and the Vatican Gardens (only recently opened to the public) as well as a visit to the Duquesne’s Rome campus to meet Duquesne summer school students.

Travelers will also experience the rich cultural heritage of Sicily, Italy’s largest island and a tapestry of Greek, Roman, Germanic, Byzantine, Norman, Arab and Italian influences. The island boasts not only historical sites but plenty of natural beauty as well, including beautiful beaches.

Visit the OIP website for more information, including a full itinerary and a reservation form.
