Red Masquers’ Fundraiser to Benefit Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council

Through the Red Masquers’ One Acts for Charity fundraiser, the Duquesne theater group will be accepting donations to support a local organization.

The three one-act plays, directed and performed by students, include William Moseley’s Split Decision, Robert Patrick’s One of Those People and Tennessee Williams’ This Property is Condemned.

One Acts for Charity—which will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council—will be staged Wednesday, April 23, through Saturday, April 26, at 8:30 p.m. in the Peter Mills Auditorium of Rockwell Hall.

The Red Masquers will be accepting donations instead of charging admission to One Acts for Charity, to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. With six locations across the metro area, the literacy council provides free help in basic skills, GED preparation, English as a second language, workforce preparation and computer skills.
