Spring Book Sale Continues Through Friday

The annual spring Scholastic book sale continues in the Duquesne Union through Friday. The sale runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Friday, April 11, when the event concludes at 4 p.m.

Books of all kinds for children and adults, from art to astrology and even recent popular fiction and cookbooks are available for employees to stock up for summer reading or to find gifts for Easter and First Communions.

Customers who donate a book of their choice to support local pre-kindergarten through grade eight summer reading programs will receive a special buy one, get one free offer.

Proceeds benefit the Maureen Sullivan Curriculum Center, an educational resources collection on Gumberg Library’s fifth floor for pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The center is designed to support schools as well as campus programs working with children.
