Work the Brain, Creative Verve and Body on Campus This Summer

This summer, the University is offering employees the opportunity to work out their brain, creative genius and body. More than 500 academic courses will be offered in summer sessions, plus a writing camp for high schoolers, an online writing workshop for adults and kids’ sports camps.

The money-saving bonus of free summer housing is offered to Duquesne students who have lived on campus in the spring or will be campus residents in the fall. Some undergraduate schools are also offering a tuition discount for the summer.

Students from other institutions are also welcome to take a summer course to catch up, get ahead or focus on a special topic.

Thirteen different on-campus and online sessions, ranging from three to 12 weeks, begin in May, June and July. Registration is open for credit classes as well as for certificate programs, like becoming a paralegal in just 12 weeks, for example.

In addition to soccer, lacrosse, basketball and volleyball camps for kids, the University’s schedule includes reading classes and literacy development and clinics. For more information, visit www.duq.edu/summer.
