FoodU App Improves Campus Dining Communication

Parkhurst Dining, Duquesne’s dining services provider, has launched FoodU, a new mobile app designed to improve communication about campus dining services.

FoodU provides the University community with easy access to the following details about each campus dining location:

  • Hours of operation
  • Daily menus
  • Descriptions of food available
  • Ability to set preferences for specific menu items and specials such as Mexican or gluten free
  • A search function that allows the user to type in what kind of food they would like to eat and then be directed to the nearest location on campus with that food.

Integrated with Twitter and Facebook, the mobile app also provides photos and updated news on Dining Services, including specials and promotions happening on campus.

FoodU is published in both the Apple App store and GooglePlay. Search for “FoodU” and select “Duquesne University.”
