Campus-Wide Luncheon Held for United Way Campaign

Scott Hollander, executive director of KidsVoice, spoke to nearly 250 members of the campus community at the United Way luncheon held Oct. 28.

Hollander shared personal stories of his child advocacy work through KidsVoice, a United Way funded nonprofit that each year provides a voice for the 3,000 abused, neglected and at-risk children who otherwise cannot speak for themselves. He reminded attendees that supporting the United Way advances the common good and helps build better lives for those struggling within our communities.

Duquesne is currently at 57.9 percent of its campaign target of $105,000 and needs your support. The campaign runs through Wednesday, Nov.  26.
