Dr. Stanley Kabala, associate director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education, was featured in the second episode of the documentary series, Sustainability Pioneers, which focused on the transition toward an energy renewable future. The project is funded by The Heinz Endowments and The Fisher Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation.
Kirsha Weyandt Trychta, assistant professor of clinical legal skills and director of academic excellence for the School of Law, presented and served as a moderator at the Practice for Success training program for young attorneys, hosted by the Allegheny County Bar Association’s on Oct. 17-18.
Dr. George Yancy, professor of philosophy, presented the lecture, The Perception of Black Bodies in ‘Post Racial’ America, sponsored by The Otterbein University Humanities Advisory Committee on Oct. 20 at the university in Westerville, Ohio.
