Faculty & Staff Spotlight

Dr. Lina Dostillo, director of the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and faculty member in the School of Education, is chair of the International Association for Research on Service-Living and Community Engagement, which had its 14th annual conference this past week in New Orleans. Dostilio and her board colleagues drafted the association’s reaffirmation statement, a document that declares its ongoing commitments to rigorous and inclusive research and theoretical inquiry.

Dr. Tomislav Pintauer, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry in the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, presented Highly Efficient Synthesis of Copper(I)-Cyanide Frameworks Employing Photodecomposition of Free Radical Diazo Initiator (AIBN) on Oct. 3 as a part of Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Chemistry Seminar Series.
