Dr. Linda Goodfellow, clinical associate professor of nursing, Dr. Lenore Resick, clinical professor of nursing, and Dr. Rick Zoucha, professor of nursing, were inducted as fellows of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN), one of the profession’s most prestigious honors, at the AAN’s annual conference, in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 18. Fellowship in the organization acknowledges leadership in nursing education, management or policy that helps to improve the nation’s health.
David Nolfi, health sciences librarian and library assessment coordinator at Gumberg Library, received the 2014 Marguerite Abel Service Recognition Award presented at the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association annual meeting in Alexandria, Va. The award, presented on Oct. 21, recognizes an individual who provides exemplary service to the chapter.
