Dr. Joseph Kush, associate professor of instructional technology, presented an invited paper, Cultivation and Mentoring of Teachers: Survival in the 21st Century, at an annual regional conference of the Shaanxi Provincial Ministry of Education in Xi’an, China, in October. As a result of the presentation, Kush was named a visiting professor at Shaanxi Institute of International Trade and Commerce in Xi’an.
Dr. Jacob Rooksby, assistant professor of law, authored a chapter titled Learning to Litigate: University Patents in the Knowledge Economy that is included in the book Academic Capitalism in the Age of Globalization that will be published this month by John Hopkins University Press.
