Center for Pharmacy Services Gets New Name

To coincide with its fourth year anniversary, The Center for Pharmacy Services in the Hill District has been re-named Duquesne University Pharmacy.

While the name has changed, the pharmacy’s commitment to helping area patients manage their medications and live healthy lifestyles remains the same. Patients can expect to receive the same exceptional care and attention to detail that they have experienced throughout the pharmacy’s first four years in the community.

“Duquesne University Pharmacy provides much more than just filling prescriptions,” said Terri Kroh, director of the pharmacy. “Patients are at the heart of our pharmacy services, which include patient counseling, health screenings, drug therapy review and disease management.”

Dr. J. Douglas Bricker, dean of the Mylan School of Pharmacy, encourages everyone to “tell your doctor that Duquesne University Pharmacy is your pharmacy.”

Duquesne University Pharmacy is located at 1860 Centre Avenue with the hours of operation from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Prescriptions can be ordered online at www.duqpharmacy.org and offers the option to sign up for monthly automatic refills.
