The Coffee House Reading Series will return on Tuesday, Feb. 3, with readings by fiction novelist Craig Bernier and poet Scott Silsbe.

The readings begin at 7 p.m. in the Barnes & Noble Café and are free and open to the public.

A Pittsburgh-based writer, Bernier is author of the award-winning Your Life Idyllic. His stories have appeared in Creative Nonfiction and have been published in The Roanoke Review, Western Humanities Review and in a story anthology titled Detroit Noir.

Silsbe has authored two poetry collections. His poems and prose have appeared in many periodicals including Third Coast, The Chariton Review, Kitchen Sink and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Sponsored by the Department of English, the series aims to develop the creative writing and arts community on campus. It features established writers, Duquesne students and other emerging writers.
