Valarie Blake, visiting assistant professor of health law, participated in the panel discussion The Transformation and Future of Healthcare Ethics on Dec. 6 at Ethics in Today’s Evolving Healthcare, a conference in Pittsburgh sponsored by the Center for Connected Medicine.
The Rev. Greg Ikechukwu Olikenyi, C.S.Sp., assistant professor of theology, celebrated the 25th anniversary of his ordination on Dec. 27 in his native Nigeria. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in theology and a master’s in religious studies from the Missionary Institute in London, he was ordained in 1989. He earned his doctorate in 2001 from the Philosophische-Theologische Hochschule, SVD, in St. Augustine, Germany. A professor at Duquesne since 2013, he teaches theological views and researches the mission of evangelization, particularly in Africa.
