Human Rights Film Series Continues with ‘Fed Up’

The University’s eighth annual Human Rights Film Series continues on Monday, Feb. 2, with Fed Up, a thought-provoking expose of the relationship between Big Food, Big Government and the nationwide obesity epidemic.

Following the film, two speakers will provide personal insights related to one of the greatest health epidemics of our time: Jennifer Nachreiner, community involvement chair for Pittsburgh Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Juliet Mancino, lead interventionist at EMPOWER Weight Loss Study and an adjunct in the School of Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh, will speak.

This and all screenings for the Human Rights Film Series start at 7 p.m. in Room 105 of College Hall, and are free and open to the public. The series is presented by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. For more information, call 412.396.6415.
