Gallagher Chair for the Integration of Science, Theology, Philosophy and Law, and a professor in the Center for Healthcare Ethics, is one of two experts who participated in Religion, Ethics and the Beginning of Life: Controversies and Perspectives, a panel on bioethical issues involving the beginning of life on Jan. 29 at the Old Dominion University Institute for Jewish Studies and Interfaith Understanding in Norfolk, Va.
