Dr. Henk ten Have, director of the Center for Healthcare Ethics, has been selected as editor in chief of the International Journal of Ethics Education, a new journal of the International Association for Education in Ethics, which will cover the teaching of ethics across all disciplines.

Dr. RobRoy Martin, professor of physical therapy, was honored by the American Physical Therapy Association’s orthopaedic section as the 2015 Richard W. Bowling—Richard E. Erhard Orthopaedic Clinical Practice Award recipient. The award recognizes an individual that has made an outstanding and lasting contribution to the clinical practice of orthopaedic physical therapy as exemplified by the professional careers of Richard W. Bowling and Richard E. Erhard. Martin received the award at the orthopaedic section awards ceremony on Feb. 6 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Donna Steed, assistant director of human resources-benefits, has been appointed treasurer of the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health Services Board (PBGH). Steed, who also serves on PBGH’s membership committee, will work with the PBGH CEO/executive director to approve work plans and budget, review proposals and oversee the financial needs as part of her new role.
