Funds totaling $24,714 were recently received by the Mylan School of Pharmacy and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.
- Dr. Jelena Janjic, assistant professor of pharmaceutics, Mylan School of Pharmacy, $19,914, on a subcontract with University of Toledo for a collaboration to formulate methuosis targeting compounds as nanoemulsions to improve their bioavailability and prepare pilot batches for testing.
- Dr. John Stolz, director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education, $4,800, from Lanxess in support of testing biocide efficacy to control microbial growth in production fluids from hydraulic fracturing.
