  • Dr. Melissa Kalarchian, associate dean for research in nursing, $66,136 of additional funding, from a National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases Grant, on a subcontract from the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute, for Psychosocial Issues and Bariatric Surgery.
  • Dr. Elizabeth Fein, assistant professor of psychology in the McAnulty College, $28, 275, from the American Anthropological Association, to support research for Autism Spectrum Disorders in Global, Local and Personal Perspective: A Cross-Cultural Workshop, which will be held at the Institute for Social Medicine at the State University of Rio de Janeiro.
  • Dr. Regina Harbourne, assistant professor of physical therapy, Rangos School of Health Sciences, $6,500, from a Faculty Development Award, for the project A Mobile Application for Early Quantification of Motor Skill in Infants at Risk.
