Ken Gormley, dean and professor of law, participated in a panel of international legal experts on Oct. 13 to discuss the future of legal education as part of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) webinar hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, which is the CLE arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Gerard F. O’Neil, assistant archivist in the Gumberg Library, recently published the book Pittsburgh Irish: Erin on the Three Rivers, which focuses on both Presbyterian and Catholic Irish settling in Pittsburgh. The book was published by The History Press.

Thomas White, archivist and curator of special collections in the Gumberg Library, has recently published the book Haunted Roads of Western Pennsylvania, published by Haunted America. White will give presentations across the region, including Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 8:30 to 10 p.m. at the Phenomenology Center in the Gumberg Library; and from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, at the downtown branch of the Carnegie Public Library.
