Final Week to Make a United Way Donation

There is still time for University employees to make a difference through a contribution to Duquesne’s annual United Way campaign.

To date, more than 300 employees have donated or made a pledge, but the campaign has only reached the 79 percent mark or $79,416 of its goal.

“The United Way is about everyone joining together to help our communities remain stable and strong,” said campaign chair Tom Hart, director of public safety. “But we need the support of those who have not yet renewed their pledges or who may be giving for the first time to help us reach our goal.”

The University’s campaign ends on Wednesday, Nov. 25. All contributions to the campaign, no matter the size, support vital services and resources that sustain many people who are struggling to get by.

Employees who haven’t contributed yet and wish to do so, can donate online.
