Dr. Anna Floerke Scheid, assistant professor of theology, presented The Future of the Just War Theory: A Consistent Ethic of Reconciliation at the annual meeting of the Society of Christian Ethics, held in Toronto from Jan. 7-10. Additionally, she contributed a chapter, Torture, Terror and Just War, to the volume, Can War Be Just in the 21st Century: Ethicists Engage the Tradition, published by Orbis Books.
