Grants Received

Funds totaling $136,660 were recently received by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.

  • The SBDC’s Center for International Regulatory Assistance (CITRA), $36,000, from the U.S. Small Business Administration, to support the CITRA program. Dr. Mary McKinney, SBDC director, will administer the funds.
  • The SBDC training budget, $80,860, from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Dr. Mary McKinney, SBDC director, will administer the award.
  • Dr. Michael Cascio, associate professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Bayer School, $19,800 subcontract of Year 2 funding, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, from the National Institutes of Health, for TARP Modulation of AMPA Receptors.
