Human Rights Film Series Screens Film on Undocumented Immigrants

The thought-provoking topic of undocumented immigrants and immigration law will be at the center of this week’s Human Rights Film Series screening.

Don’t Tell Anyone, which will be screened on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. in Room 105 of College Hall, tells the story of Angy Rivera, an undocumented immigrant living in New York City with her mother and siblings.

A question-and-answer session with attorney Mark Harley of the Schneck and Harley Immigration Law Group, LLP, will immediately follow the screening.

Following the theme of From Silence to Solidarity, the 2016 Human Rights Film Series is presented by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.

The series continues next week with a screening of Place at the Table on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The 2016 Human Rights Film Series is free and open to the public. For more information, call 412.396.6415 or visit www.duq.edu/human-rights.
