Dr. Mary Ellen Glasgow, dean and professor of nursing, presented the keynote address, You Can’t Do This to Me, I Know My Rights! Exploring Legal Issues Concerning Standardized Assessment Measures in Undergraduate Nursing Education, on March 12 at the Elevate Outcomes with HESI conference in Las Vegas, Nev.
In addition, Glasgow is one of 14 nursing leaders selected from across the United States to serve as a Leadership Mentor for the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing’s prestigious Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy.
Jeff Mallory, director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Tricia Ryel, major gifts officer of law and liberal arts, were each elected to the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project Board of Directors for a three-year term.
