Employees Asked to Set Up New Voicemail in Preparation for New System

In preparation for the transition to a new voicemail system at Duquesne University in October, the Office of Computing and Technology Services (CTS) is asking employees to proactively set up their new voicemail, personal greeting and password on the new system.

The setup is simple and can be performed at any time from either on or off campus. Detailed instructions on how to set up a new mailbox are available at http://www.duq.edu/about/campus/computing-and-technology/avst-voicemail-setup. Employees who set up their new voicemail prior to the transition (slated for Wednesday, Oct. 19) can continue to use their current voicemail until then.

Please note that any saved voicemail messages will not transition to the new system beginning Oct. 19. To preserve an important saved voicemail message, contact the CTS Help Desk at help@duq.edu to request a consultation.

Employees who do not use the University’s voicemail system do not need to take any action.

For questions regarding this transition, contact the CTS Help Desk at 412.396.4357 and refer to ticket number # 313930 or visit the CTS website at www.duq.edu/cts.
