Campus Invited to Discussion on ‘Christian–Muslim Relations Here and Abroad’

The Rev. Robert Dowd, C.S.C., associate professor of political science at the University of Notre Dame, and Elaine Linn, executive director of the Consortium for Educational Resources on Islamic Studies (CERIS), will share their thoughts on Islam today and their experience of inter-religious relations at an upcoming campus lecture.

Christian–Muslim Relations Here and Abroad: How People’s Faith Guides Their Lives will be presented on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 719 of Fisher Hall.

Co-hosted by Duquesne’s Consortium for Christian–Muslim Dialogue (CCMD) and the Notre Dame Alumni Association of Pittsburgh, this event is being held as part of the Hesburgh Lecture Series, which addresses issues reflective of the unique strengths of Notre Dame in an effort to stimulate intellectual engagement.
