Funds totaling $117,439 were recently received by the Rangos School of Health Sciences, the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration, the School of Nursing and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.
- Dr. Gregory Marchetti, associate professor of physical therapy, Rangos School of Health Sciences, $11,545, from the U.S. Army through the University of Pittsburgh, for Effectiveness of a Vestibular Ocular Motor Screening (VOMS) Tool for Identifying mTBI and Tracking Recovery in Military Personnel.
- A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration, $75,000, from Steel Dynamic, Inc., for an annual one-day sales competition for undergraduate students. Dr. Dean McFarlin, dean and professor, will administer the award.
- Dr. Patricia Kelley, professor, School of Nursing, $27,644, from The Geneva Foundation, for Global Health Engagement Missions: Lessons Learned Aboard US Naval Hospital Ships.
- Dr. Jennifer Aitken, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, $3,250, from the American Chemical Society, for Project SEED Program.
