Nomination Deadline for Staff Awards is Tomorrow; Holiday Party Dec. 22

The deadline to submit nominations for Staff Awards is by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

All full-time and part-time staff members who have been at the University for at least two years are eligible to be nominated for awards. The awards have undergone some minor changes, so review the following new descriptions carefully:

• President’s Spirit of Duquesne Staff Award
• Innovation Award – Ideas that Make a Difference
• Teamwork Award
• Quality Service Award.

Awardees will be announced at the annual University Christmas celebration, along with employees who have achieved five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service in 2016.

This year’s luncheon will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. A live jazz band will play holiday favorites while attendees mingle with colleagues and enjoy a variety of festive foods, including a carving station, risotto bar, ham sliders and an assortment of sides and desserts.
