Daffodil Days Returns to Campus

Colleges Against Cancer, Duquesne’s student affiliate for the American Cancer Society, has resumed its popular Daffodil Days campaign. A universal symbol of hope and life, daffodils are sold each spring through Daffodil Days campaigns across the country to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.

Daffodils can be purchased through Friday, Feb. 3, to support the American Cancer Society.  There are several options, including daffodil themed candy:

  • $12 – Mini Potted Daffodils (3-4 bulbs come packaged inside a 4” pot with foil wrap and cellophane. Bulbs can be planted to bloom year after year.)
  • $10 – Bunch of Daffodils (10 flowers per bunch)
  • $1 – White Chocolate Daffodil Lollipop
  • $1 – Milk Chocolate Daffodil Lollipop.

Orders can be made through a department Daffodil Days representative or by visiting the Center for Student Involvement in Room 305 of the Union. Checks can be made payable to the American Cancer Society.

Delivery of the daffodils is expected around Monday, March 13.
