Human Rights Film Series Presents ‘Salam Neighbor’

A free screening of Salam Neighbor, part of the University’s 10th annual Human Rights Film Series, is set for Monday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. in Room 105 of College Hall. This award-winning film documents the experiences of the first filmmakers allowed to reside within Jordan’s Za’atari Syrian refugee camp.

After the film, Leslie Aizenman, director of refugee and immigrant services for the Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Pittsburgh, and photographer and journalist Maranie Staab will speak briefly and answer questions from attendees.
