Dr. Faith Bjalobok, assistant professor philosophy, serves on on the board of directors of the nonprofit Save A Horse Stables equine sanctuary, an organization that has been awarded the second Cindy’s Wind grant of $500 to launch the “Flicka” pilot program, which will provide equine bonding experiences for domestic violence victims. Bjalobok wrote the grant proposal on behalf of Save a Horse Stables.
Dr. Jacob Rooksby, associate professor of law and associate dean of administration in the School of Law, gave three presentations at the 38th annual National Conference on Law and Higher Education, which was held Feb. 9-13 in Orlando, Fla. Two of his presentations included FERPA and IP and Higher Education Institutions. He also delivered The Branding of the American Mind as one of the conference’s lunchtime plenary presentations.
