Dr. Ronald Arnett, endowed chair and professor of communications and rhetorical studies, recently published his book, Levinas’s Rhetorical Demand: The Unending Obligation of Communication Ethics, which reveals the importance of European Jewish intellectual Emmanuel Levinas’s writing and insights.

Dr. Mikael Kimelman, chair and associate professor of speech-language pathology, was honored by the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders, which presented him with the Honors of Council award on April 20. The award recognizes individuals who have made an impact in the field through clinical practice, teaching, research, administration, service or legislative activity.

Dr. Amy Phelps, assistant professor of finance and economics, recently published her piece, The Current Landscape of Teaching Analytics to Business Students at Institutions of Higher Education: Who is Teaching What? in American Statistician.
