Funds totaling $8,000 were recently received by the School of Education and the School of Pharmacy.

  • Dr. Waganesh Zeleke, assistant professor, School of Education, $4,000, a Loogman Faculty Research Grant for Examining the Effectiveness of Behavioral Treatment and Intervention Received by Children with Autism in Ethiopia. The Loogman Grants are designed to build a corpus of high quality publications in the field of African Studies.
  • Dr. Benedict Kolber, assistant professor of biological sciences, and Dr. Kevin Tidgewell, assistant professor of medicinal chemistry, School of Pharmacy, $4,000, a Loogman Faculty Research Grant for A Multi-Continent Collaboration in Pain Research and Treatment: Using Ethnopharmacological Knowledge from Cameroon to Develop Novel Pain Treatments.
